Structure - as said above, movement out of their own zone is often awful. I mean, if you are not going to have puck support and end up dumping it in, dump with the wingers moving so they have a chance of recovering. This has been the worst of both worlds. It is 100 percent an issue that can be reduced by coaching

Puck support and movement - watch their goals from last year, especially the top line. One touch passes were common. Now only Tkachuk does them with regularity

The help they need should be coming from the coaches
Agree with the above. To me it just looks like they stopped skating. Every time Gaudreau makes magic he's moving his feet. This year he's hesitating and is more than happy to coast towards the corner trying to make a play or a low percentage shot. I'm not sure if that's how they're being told to play but I see a team obsessed with passing instead of skating the puck East-West.

Can't believe I got to witness that Rittich madness live.

Nothing more satisfying than hearing at least 5 times in the game, "who the f**** is that guy in net?!"

He's annoying at times but he is pretty neutral with a Leafs slant so a recap of the Leafs-Flames game.

See you guys in the Cup final!

I rarely make it through a whole video. But he found a niche and has made a career out of it. He has basically become the defacto Sportsnet fan perspective guy.He covers hockey to a living so good on him.

Anyways lots of love for Rittich.

I like Dangle more than virtually any other Toronto based sports personality. He tends to give the other side a lot of credit when it is due, and isnt above criticizing his team. He is a bit yelly but in the context of sports fandom I think it fits. Shame he's a leafs fan.
