The Unifor commercials saying to boycott Co-op oddly makes me want to support them more.

Well here's a concept. Be the better person. Ya, once in awhile you'll get screwed, but I don't say comments like the following because acting as such as allowed me to be surrounded by decent people too. Flies around #### and all that.

Not sure how you missed the irony here. If he cuts her off then he's the ####ty person. Your world is what you make of it.
Here’s also the thing, it’s not a material item they’re sharing and just shrug off if you never get to see again. It’s over a pet that he obviously love and care for. It’s easy for you to sit back and advise him to be “the better person” when you have no skin in the game.

If he’s willing to risk losing his dog to maintain a friendship with his ex, by all means, it’s his risk to take. But given this minor request to share a schedule bothers him this much already, it may be best to find some solid resolution now rather than later.

It does seem a bit strange. Unless they bought the dog together, it’s a bit perplexing.

Another way to get her to possibly back down- tell her that you have an upcoming vet bill for the dog. Something costly, but not life threatening. For example, dental work on a dog can easily cost in the $3000s. (Ask me how I know.) Just make the number sound real, like "vet estimates between $3200-3700; they will know more once he is under."

Still a bit of a jerk-ish move, however.

Eh, I might have been a bit defensive while she might have been having a tough time. We did get he dog together yada yada yada. She’s always offered to help with any costs or grooming since the split, just doesn’t seem right.
I understand where she’s coming from, she loves the dog as much as I do. It’s just tough for me to weigh my interests, her interests, and my complex living relationship with a lady who has also grown to love the dog over the last few years.

Long story short, I’ll try to be more accommodating, while trying to avoid so much time share that I get resentful or start to use the dog as a tool.

Women...you know.

Well...you could...you know...ask the right people and replace the baby in the gif with your dog...

What ever happened to Czechia. Wasn't there a vote to call the Czech Republic that from now on? I remember it being a story a few years ago and have seen nothing referring to "Czechia" ever since.

the official name for the country is "Czech Republic," but Czechia is the official shortened version of the name .

It has already been three years since the Czech Republic adopted “Czechia” as its official and shortened geographical name in the English language. But has it caught on with the general public?

I haven't heard anyone use it. Specifically during the international hockey tournaments I've watched you'd think someone would. I still hear people use Czechoslovakia.

Ahh.. that's why my Flags of the World game app calls it that. First time I saw that I was so confused, I hadn't heard about that. It's all falling into place..

Amazon needs a "Do Not Use Intelcom" option.

I think you can call them and request for them not to use a certain company.

I loved my old IntelCom guy. He would drop off packages at any hour and was probably high as a kite.

As far as I'm concerned, Sporcle is the definitive source on country names. Their Countries of the World quiz uses Czechia as well as eSwatini and North Macedonia.

I tried this with Purolator, cause screw Purolator, and Amazon told me they had agreements with couriers and couldn't remove them from delivering to me but would make a note on my account to make them lowest priority. Next 3 orders came Purolator

Intelcom is the best.

What they need is a "Do Not Use Dynamex" option. Quite often they'll try delivering to my workplace at 9pm, call me, then ask if it's a business (quite obvious duh) and what they should do. Oh I don't know.... deliver tomorrow during business hours maybe?

Even better, have the ability to set an address as business so those attempts don't happen.
