What did Oklahoma expect their defense was putrid, they kept playing that cover two stinger defense and got eaten alive. and refused to change and got shredded for it.

Well it’s too bad neither game was competitive but there weren’t a lot of good options. Bama and Clemson May just be that much better than the rest of the field.

No matter who you replace it looks bad. No way they were gonna have an SEC championship rematch and there’s no way they were gonna put georgia as the 3 seed. I guess they could have put OSU at 4. However looking at the rest of the top 10 I don’t see any teams that are legit contenders, regardless of the criteria used to rank them.

If you just pick the 4 best teams then the regular season and conference championships mean nothing. If you pick based on record then you may not get the 4 best teams. There’s a balance. Never going to be perfect. I think the committee picked the right 4 teams based on their criteria.

Good effort by UCF to get things close. That tipped pass at the end almost turned into an immaculate reception instead of an INT.

Lincoln Riley has been awarded a raise and extension by the University of Oklahoma.# The deal has been agreed to in principal but will be finalized during the January Board of Regents meeting.

The NFL will come calling again next offseason, however I don't think he ever leaves unless its for Dallas.

Washington - OSU, Kentucky - Penn State, and Texas-Georgia all ended up being decent games at the end. I'm still miffed that neither of the semi finals was shown on network channels or even 'regular' cable channels and I missed them both. After a season of anticipation and watching is was a real let down to not be able to see the two biggest games.

Dan Holgorsen takes a huge pay hike to move down from coaching a Power 5 team (Wet Virginia) to a Group of Five team at Houston. I believe that may the first time this has happened.
