As much as I love golf, I don't really get excited about the Ryder Cup. Might be kinda cool to see Tiger and Phil paired up in foursomes.
I'm more looking forward to the fall PGA Tour events to see how the Canadians do early in the season.

The crowd is coming through really loud on the radio coverage. Much more loud than on TV. Different perspective for golf.
Lots of booing by the fans against the Americans. Commentators don't like it.

I dont know what Speith's putting ended up like but he was like 6 putts through 7 holes last night. That the match was even close is something of a moral victory for the Europeans.
Reports on the radio coverage last night had the Americans pulling Phil from the 4 ball and considering pulling him from the afternoon. He was spraying them all over the range allegedly.

Nothing to kill the end of golf watching season like 12am mtn starts overseas. I get it, but still, I can't PVR golf like other sports so the season's over now.
Oh well, like doublek said, let's see how some of the Canadians do to start the season. When's Graham DeLaet scheduled to be back, again?

He had the same procedure Tiger had on his back in July. Not supposed to be back until mid-2019. This after stem cell treatment on his back didn't work.
Highly doubtful he will play again.

That's just my view. It hasn't been reported anywhere or anything like that.
He had a surgery on a different part of his back a few years ago. Then went stem cell. How had this procedure. Two different disks and stem cells.
Thy guy was among the best ball strikers when he was healthy. He was regularly near the top of total driving and ball striking stats. Just can't putt for ####.
It's a real shame.

i'm quite enjoying the radio coverage. Maybe it's because there are several people reporting and it's nice to hear different perspectives than what we normally see/hear on tv.
