Default Steak and Calamari in Calgary

My dad is turning 75 next week and Ill be coming to Calgary for the occasion. His two favourite foods are Steak and Calamari. Given it’s his 75th, price is no object I just want the best of those two things for his 75th. Having said that I don’t want to spend money just to spend. He is unimpressed by pretension lol.

I havent been for a while but the Cattle Baron has both of those and they are excellent.

A lot of the high end steak houses dont offer calamari anymore from my recollection.

Ive never been to Ruths Chris, but my lady friend swears by it.

Saltlik also has calamari and steaks.

I'd go to Ruth's Chris though, Saltlik can be hit or miss.

I checked Hy's and they don't serve Calamari.

Teatro has some amazing Calamari and by default has steak on the menu. Great venue as well.

I find the opposite is true at Sundance location. Service and quality are usually excellent.
