Still makes no sense. There was a great chance Calgary still could have killed the clock. Can't wait to hear his interview.

Great game. I’ll gladly eat some crow on Messam. Enjoyed seeing the mouthy Edmonton fans who screamed in my wife’s face in the first quarter when the Esks went up 14-0 getting their face rearranged when they were leaving the game. Just a little cherry on top.

It was for the Superbowl. This wasn't for the Grey Cup.

Still nothing feels as good as the 13th man penalty for the Roughriders!

That's what I don't get. He knew they needed a TD at some point. Why not at that moment when they were so close and really rolling? Weird.

Even if they don't make it. The Stamps would have been on their own 15 yard line against the wind.

Merry Xmas Stamps fans! Super early present!

That was the worst call since Blake Shelton was named People magazine's "sexiest man alive" #OneEmpire #Esks

Dumbfounded by Maas’ decision along with everyone else.

Congrats Stamps fans, you guys have had a great year. Mitchell looked much better again today but his receivers had a rough, rough day. Go get that Grey Cup, bring it back West

Yeah, even if you believe he knew the score which I am not 100% convinced of even after listening to him, there wasn’t a lot of time. Cote got the one first down sure, but all other plays took little extra time off the clock. So 4 plays the Stamps run.

Esks would’ve had 20 seconds or so after that punt. To go 60 yards.

Ok if they stopped them without the first down, they would’ve had close to a minute. But stopping the Stamps 2 and out as pretty much the only way to have enough time is far too slim a margin given the alternative.

I still think he thought getting into fg range a second time, was all he needed

They bit off a little more Than they could chew though. It was poetic justice. I don’t normally condone such actions, but these idiots were screaming in people face’s for two quarters.

Even with the option to purchase Grey Cup tickets, I will not be renewing if Maas remains head coach. It's simply an unacceptable course of action for the organization to take.

And yeah, already turned off that pathetic CHED post-game. Dave Campbell and Morley Scott praising the job Maas has done and downplaying the call merely "questionable". Just sickening. The team's propaganda machine in full force
.

That play call was ridiculous. I haven’t heard what TSN and the talking heads have said about it yet, but at the game everyone in my section was dumb founded at it. Edmonton wa marching down the field at will on that drive. I was certain the were going me to score a major. Not sure why you want to take the ball out of the hands of the best player in the CFL in Reilly.

The crowd was GREAT today, loved seeing all the Eskies fans leaving McMahon after the recovery at the end of the game... especially with how cocky they were in the 1st quarter.

Edmonton will forever be no good.
