I don’t see how it’s tough to make changes to the hubby line. Hunt instead of Kuz?

I'm guessing Kuz isn't 100% yet and that's more of the reason for no lineup changes than anything else.

Maybe he is just still under the weather but it feels like Kuzy has fallen out of favour with Huska. Guess we'll see what happens over the next few games.

Taking a while to get to 5000

Coach has a weird love for Hunt. Saw this at the start of the year too. Good game out of him on Saturday, but thats not the norm.
I agree, Kuzmenko may actually be hurt, not just sick.
Edit - Or was hurt

I'd like to see Pelletier get some PP time.
Backlund has 2 PP points in 110 minutes of icetime. That's not good.. at all.

Yeah don't love the way Huska is managing Kuzmenko...he's made the odd mistake.

If Kuzmenko is good to go, he needs to be in the lineup imo. Coming off a dominant victory or not.

Well Hunt is at a ppg on the farm and was good in the ahl playoffs. So far there's really only been a couple bad games from early in the year when everybody blew. Earned another shot I spose.

There must be some kind of illness and/or minor injury for Kuz.
I don't think Kuz is an inferior player than Duehr or Pelletier, or even Mangiapane for that matter...

Who do you take out? Hunt with a goal last game, Duehr with a good assist on the first goal. Pelletier just came into the lineup, and needs to be playing to.
It's probably Duehr for me, but that doesn't send him a great message either.

For me, you take out Mangi who has been extremely mid, to wake him up a bit.
Run pelts on the line with Backs and Pickles, it's the traditional rookie wind up spot anyways.
Hunt and Duehr as 4th line wingers (which they are perfectly suited to, and will keep them providing the level of energy they can in short bursts.)

You take out Hunt.
Good on him for having a solid outing last game, but he's proven he's not an NHL player and certainly shouldn't be playing on a line expected to produce offense.

Mangiapane who led all skaters with 63.3% xGF% in Edmonton on Saturday night?
The next closest guy was 56%.
Don't think so.

Kuzmenko already in the doghouse?
That didn't take long.

I think he was sick and this is first practice back; the fact that he’s taking reps on PP1 tells me he’s not in the doghouse at all.

I mean, Hunt scored the winning goal, set up by Huberdeau, so maybe Huska is brilliant. Bring a guy in for one game, he pops one.
Seriously, I've not minded Hunt every time he's come up. Obviously not a top 9 guy but he's been decent.

Yea he has a solid motor, always moving on the ice and seems to be in the right spot often. Not opposed to seeing a little more out of him and IMO the competition is between him and Duehr at this point and both performed well in Edmonton.

I don't know. In my opinion, Huska has done a pretty great job of managing the bench all season. I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt, here.
