The black side stripes would have been fine if the forearm sleeves were red (with the black, yellow and white stripes).

Good point re the STL blue on blue jerseys. I like the red on red - a little tinkering with colour shades and those could be really hot silks.

Maybe this is fata but I had a thought, the under arm vertical strips are basically the pedestal design that hold up the players arms instead of the Flaming C.
I shall refer to this from now on as the "crutches" design

Love the flags. Especially the Alberta one. So glad they're back.

Somebody should mail these to Flames staff, any person remotely associated with coming up with jersey design

Why? So they can either discard the design out of hand because it was unsolicited or so they can use it and open themselves up to a lawsuit from the original creator. There's a reason why big league professional sports leagues do not accept unsolicited designs.

They should just straight up contact the guy who designed these. Chris Fortier. He has a bunch on Icethetics.com

But that's good news if you can get the shoulder patches separately. That would be sweet - where do you get them?
|
yea - that's the one
the reason i'm thinking white 'c' is becuz the primary colour of the #s is white
i'll be making the normal black 'c' too and seeing which i prefer before putting the jersey together
where do i get the patches... from my shop (perks of owning an embroidery company)

Did anyone else think they actually got rid of all the piping down the side of the jersey until seeing the bigger version of the pic? God damnit, so all they changed was the couple of black lines up the arms.

Well they got rid of the stupid italicized numbers/namebars.
Good move.

Yup, thought the same thing. Still not 100% sure, but some of the larger versions do seem to still have piping?
They did get rid of the piping down the arms through the armpit though... but it looks like it's still there under the arm along the torso.
