Definitely a deserving All Star but with only 6 forward spots and every team needing representation it is going to be tough. Here is my mock Pacific team:
F: McDavid, Gaudreau, Kopitar, Boeser, Karlsson, Monahan
D: Doughty, OEL, Montour
G: Quick, Jones
I was able to squeeze Monahan on by having Jones over Burns for the Sharks, OEL over Keller for the Yotes, and Montour over Perry for the Ducks.

I'm certain Johnny is there regardless of the vote, so the least we can do is throw a bunch of votes at Monahan. He hasn't been an all-star yet in his career despite being a perennial (approximate) 60 point 30 goal scorer. Plus Boring Sean Monahan as Pacific captain over McDoofus would be beautiful.

Its going to be near impossible to get Monahan more votes than McLottery, so maybe if we all vote Johnny then at least its a Flames captain, as he's more likely to have lots of votes from other markets.

These are both fair. Keller was red hot for like a month but hasn't done anything since, and Perry is having a pretty quiet season without Getzlaf.

I think he'd be boring as hell in an all-star game haha.
He would most definitely fit well in Olympic hockey environment though.
He's just not a flashy all-star type player

That was my thinking when voting. Voting for Johnny for me would be a waist as he's a shoo-in.
