I agree with you. I also think Vegas will fall back. Hopefully we can't keep our form up. Our playoff spot is in our hands

Meh. The Flames will make their own luck.

I have my doubts that the Penguins can roll out three wins in California. If there is one game I don’t mind them losing, this is the one.

Exactly. I think the goal should be finishing second in the division and getting a home ice playoff series.

Its gonna take a really solid record...which is fine, just wish they didn't take some of those nights off against lesser opponents

I'd be ok with this.

Also, can we please finally beat the stupid Oilers on the 25th? I'm so goddamn sick of losing to those clowns. Feels like the Oilers are this year's Anaheim curse.

Yeah you are right. Us v Oilers is now a mental issue just like Anaheim. We need to beat them. No exception

This for sure. I can’t even believe we’ve lost to that **** franchise twice in a row let alone six or seven.

I hope you are wrong about this - re mental issue - because the Oilers are no where close to being the dominating physical team that the Ducks can be. So if we have a mental issue playing against the Oilers - we have BIG problems

Haha! No. It is not at all unusual for very good teams to struggle with an inferior team in such a way that they get in their heads but. Honestly, if this is the most serious issue with this Flames team that is far from terrible. I am sure they will be fine.

Good point. But then again, this franchise does historically have the blemish of struggling to score victories against inferior teams. I think its in the water here, as the Stamps have the same problem.

All good.

Pens will come out tomorrow and beat up on the Kings now.

I think it's more of a mental issue playing against McDavid than the Oilers as a whole. For some reason that kid is in the Flames' heads, and so far they haven't figured out how to defend against him like every other team in the freakin' league has.

That being said, the Flames are currently a VERY different team than the one we saw the last time they played the Oilers. They're a much deeper team with more scoring depth, better D, better goaltending, and a stronger work ethic. If the Flames can actually bring their A game on the 25th, I don't see how they can possibly lose that one.
