435 people only focused on their own needs could create a situation of 435 agenda fighting each other
Are 2 agendas fighting each other ideal? Are 5 in Canada ideal? Are 6 in Germany ideal? They also have 6 independents, so is that 12 agendas fighting each other? It doesn't seem to lead to instability in those countries. People would naturally find like minded others and tend to vote with them.

The natural outcome of like minded individuals finding each other and voting with each other is to pool money, election resources, policy development to get re-elected and like minded individuals elected to get more of their policy passed. Then perhaps it’s inevitable that they would have disagreements over policies and instead of finding others to work with they would decide the matter among themselves first and then vote together regardless of outcome.
There would be 435 people using their own brains instead of being mindless robots. Very few people ever vote against their party. The Senate is no more of an anarchy because of Sanders, King, and Sinema than it would be without them.
there would be 435 people with no constraints on what they did once elected, they would happily promise any rubbish to get the rubes to vote for them then sell themselves to the highest bidder, do what ever was in their own best interest, pretty much all of them would be bought by billionaires, nothing would ever get done and there would be no one the voters could hold to account for nothing getting done, so you dont vote for John Smith and he gets kicked out, how does that change anything if there are no parties?

The GOP wins House majority and they are now showing to the country in real time that they cannot lead, they are not serious. It's a circus side show. It's fantastic.

If the margin in the House wasn't so thin then it wouldn't matter. But Republicans have spent a decade or more cultivating people like Gaetz and Boebert and MTG.

Even if McCarthy wins at some point his job in the house is going to be pretty much impossible and the threat of taking him down with loom over him everyday. What sort of psychopath would want to be in that position? It is probably time to suck it up and throw in the towel and let this process start over.

McCarthy allowed this. He could have found candidates to primary the crazies. He allowed his party to not certify the election.
