Anyway, it's probably Laura though, and so the dilemma would be how to deal with conniving Dwight and conniving Simon when he gets back. I also don't know what is going on with Eugene. Does Negan suspect something, or is it just him trying to keep people on edge?
Of course he was a 'Todd.' He looks like a 'Todd.'

He only looks like a Todd because you know he's a Todd. That's how that works.

Really? Wasn't he a useless, bureaucratic leader of CTU? Can't quite remember, perhaps there was some redemption for him.

Hah seriously?

I miss 24, the original show that is.

Far better than that Designated Survivor that Keifer is doing now. Also more consistently enjoyable than TWD.

I agree, that show was consistently awesome right up until the last season. With how successful the original series was, I figured it was bound for the big screen eventually. I remember there was talk of a movie version for a while after the show ended, but I think that idea eventually morphed into "24: Live Another Day" in 2014.

24: Legacy wasn't bad, but I lost interest after the first few episodes. It just isn't the same without Jack.

Wow I totally forgot everything that happened after he got infected or whatever. I remember that scene now though.

I do remember John Mccain’s cameo. Was that the same season?

Anyway first couple of seasons of 24 were some of the best tv ever. Ending of season 1 just amazing.

Eugene pulled the old vomit and vamoose technique.

Solid episode! Not sure if they can actually wrap all of this up next week. I have a feeling the Negan/Saviors story arc is gonna carry over into next season, which would suck. It's already dragged on for too long.

Spoiler!

These big battle 'clashes' never go well. As in they tend to cheap out or end the conflict quickly and without much spectacle or major plot progression.

Can only hope that someone actually wins this battle, rather than a couple casualties and the respective sides regrouping yet again.

Pretty obvious the Oceanside girls will play in given the set up in this episode.

Also why is Dwight so damn likable? One of the few. Hope he finds a way out and takes out that snarky woman in the process.

Spoiler!

I hope this means he has a bigger role on Westworld this season.

Simon went out in pretty spectacular fashion. I really wish we could have gotten more of that character. More backstory, etc. It was kind of cool how they slipped in that he was responsible for the slaughter at Oceanside, though. And I'm almost as interested in seeing Simon the Walker as I was Simon the Savior.

Ogg is just a talented performer. Maybe I'm enamored after spending 60+ hours of playing mostly as Trevor in GTA V, but everything I've seen him in is so flawless: the hired gun in Better Call Saul, Rebus in Westworld, Simon in TWD. The guy needs to get more work, and as getbak said I hope Rebus has a much bigger presence in Westworld.

That was a good setup episode. Lots of things coming to a head. I'm skeptical that they conclude the war in a satisfying way, but they promise it is over next episode. Guess we'll see.

I didn't out that together, about oceanside until your post.

Interesting.

Simon was an excellent character.

What I don’t get- when Dwight got back to the Sanctuary- why didn’t he out the woman as the traitor? She is either dead so can’t dispute- or comes back later to find herself already accused.

Interesting.

Simon was an excellent character.
It was a throwaway line from Negan as Simon was apologizing. Certainly sounds like the guy was unhinged.

I'm guessing his previous attempts to get away from Negan would mean he's not the most trusted. Plus if she is already gone, he may not want to draw attention.

Timely piece from CBC:

Walking Dead actor Steven Ogg heads home to Calgary
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgar...expo-1.4612127

He's got a pretty good sense of humour.

It's odd all the images in the article are from a video game that don't show his face...
