I was similarly impressed when I watched my first non-league match in a while a couple years back. I was expecting 'Stoke on a Tuesday night' but they tried to play attractive football. Although it may not be as quick as the top flights, the style makes it entertaining and easy on the eyes. Knowing how Tommy likes his lads to play, I'm excited to see how the new additions to the Foothills core will elevate their play.

Westhills Stadium in Langford looking pretty slick before the Pacific / HFX game. I'm really looking forward to catch a game there (hopefully this year). Also, i hope Inebriatti are never in the stadium, because it will light on fire so quickly.

Disappointing that a soccer stadium on Vancouver Island doesn't have a real grass surface.

This OneSoccer stream isn’t too bad at all. Multiple camera angles, replays, Peter Schaad (sp?) commentating. Decent production value for a web-only stream.

The quality will probably vary between teams, but so far so good.

And that little stadium in Langford is pretty quaint. It is a shame it is a bit out of the way, but it looks like a nice little ground.

Just website. It looks like you only get one free month IF you subscribe and pay for the next month?

Yes, that's what I signed up for. It's good quality, I recommend it. I think the first month is the free one.

Both CPL matches have surpassed my expectations. I'm pretty giddy about this whole league now. Want to build a soccer culture? This is how you do it. Want to make the World Cup? This is how you do it. Fantastic.

I was very impressed with the OneSoccer stream of the Pac vs HFX match

Can’t wait until Saturday. Went down to Spruce Meadows yesterday and that is going to be a great setup

They’ve got an iOS and Android app. Signup has to be on the web site though.

Although I didn’t read the fine print, my assumption and what I have read on Reddit is that you only get billed after the free month. So you can cancel and pay nothing or upgrade to the annual plan.

Based on a very early but positive impression, I think $75 is just fine to get every match. I will want to see all of the Cavalry away matches, of course, but a Pacific/Halifax random match on a Sunday evening? Sure - why not?

They even have a little post-game show. Not sure if that’ll be after every “broadcast”, but that’s pretty decent.

Does OneSoccer broadcast every CPL game or just select like CBC?

Apparently every single one. Plus future national team matches.

For people with the streaming service is there a way to watch on tv? I don't have airplay but do have an apple tv and Chromecast. Won't be subscribing and watching on a tiny phone screen though.

Apparently they’re working on Chromecast, Apple TV, and Roku capabilities and it will be available soon

In the meantime on Chromecast you can just mirror your browser window to the TV. Which sucks as I've found with other things it lags more and you can't use your computer at the same time (obviously). But it might do for now.

I'm assuming the games on onesoccer are archived so you can watch anytime? If it's live only I'll skip but if you can come home later and watch it at your convenience I think I'll do it.

On demand also available. Not sure how quickly they get them up there, but yesterday's match is available now. They also have the pre/post game shows, plus 90-second and 13-minute "condensed game" highlight packages.

If they can keep this level of content up throughout the year, this will be great.

Also, I have tweeted them about AirPlay & an Apple TV app, but not response yet (I only sent it last night). But they really need to be like DAZN and get this on every platform possible, as soon as possible. This needs to be easy to watch on larger screens as well as mobile.
