Here's my latest estimate (with goals, points/win-loss in parentheses, just for fun!)
Gaudreau (24, 82) - Monahan (32, 69) - Marleau (28, 55)
Frolik (17, 46) - Backlund (18, 52) - Brouwer (15, 34)
Tkachuk (16, 48) - Bennett (17, 44) - Versteeg (14, 37)
Lazar (9, 29) - Jankowski (11, 31) - Ferland (16, 27)
Hamilton (2, 5)
Giordano (10, 46) - Hamilton (13, 55)
Brodie (8, 39) - Hamonic (4, 25)
Kulak (4, 14) - Stone (7, 30)
Bartkowski (1, 7)
Smith (38-21-8)
Gillies (7-7-1)
PP1:
Gaudreau - Monahan - Marleau
Versteeg - Hamilton
PP2:
Tkachuk - Backlund - Brouwer
Giordano - Stone
The Flames will finish the season 45-28-9, good for 99 points and second in the Pacific Division behind Anaheim. They'll score 266 goals, good for fourth in the NHL.
Lance Bouma will be either traded or buried. Matt Stajan will be likely traded. Alex Chiasson will walk in free agency. David Rittich will be Stockton's #1 goaltender. Garnet Hathaway will be the first injury call-up, but I haven't accounted for him scoring any goals... the totals listed above are dependent on the roster being healthy the whole year.

If they add another asset or two (Stone + Forward), I think the Flames could be in the 106-110 point range.
Really looking forward to the season.

I wanted to be conservative, but yeah I could absolutely see that happening. It's an unreal feeling to have going into this upcoming season, knowing that the Flames could actually do substantive damage... I've felt it only a couple of times before, and both of those times (09-10 and 15-16) I was disappointed.

I see Daniel Pribyl on a couple of lineups. This guy could be a little bit of a wildcard. He was decimated by injuries last season. Who knows, maybe a great offseason and he puts it all together next year?

Gillies will not be the backup next season. Quit putting him in the line-up.

I haven't seen a Flames team that could do real damage since they traded Gilmour, so it's been a while. The 04 team was more of a fluke than anything.

If a fluke is being the hardest working team in the NHL with great goaltending, I guess you're right.

No they don't. 38 + 21 + 8 = 67. 7 + 7 + 1 = 15. 67 + 15 = 82

This is my best guess at what we see this year. Should be able to do some damage, especially with our balanced defense. I think the big thing is our depth, we should be able to battle through injuries to some of our top guys.
Really hope we can land stone at 3.5-3.8 as he solidifies our defense where we can still compete if a top 4 guy goes down, along with allowing a prospect to get some sheltered minutes with him.
I might be off on some of the salaries so I left 1.8m to play with.
EDIT: Along with how good this lineup looks right now, if Jankowski, Lazar or Bennet break out; We could be in for a hell of a ride.

Good lineup. I think people are putting Ferland a little too cheap. He has arbitration rights and I know it was Feaster who signed Bouma, but, he also has alot more upside than Bouma did. I'm thinking a 4 year 10m contract is fair and gives us the opportunity of having a good value contract if he breaks out. Similar to scoreface's old contract.

-There's no way Treliving gave up a 2nd round pick to acquire a 4th liner. Curtis Lazar will be given every opportunity, all season long to produce within our top six.
-Chiasson is not a UFA, the Flames own his rights so he'll most likely be signed if anything just to retain the asset
-Unless Jankowski has an unbelievable training camp, I just don't see the need to rush him. He can be an injury call up sure but l feel he should continue to play important minutes in the minors
Ultimately I don't see many changes happening to our forward group, especially with how bad this year's free agent group is. I believe Treliving feels like many, with much better goaltending, an improved D core, players rebounding from subpar seasons and having good, young depth in the minors is what the Flames need to be competitive

Gaudreau - Monahan - Ferland
They seemed to develop some chemistry later in the season. They score and a full preseason should help speed up the process. ferland seems to be figuring out how to play consistently and Gaudreau and Monny just click.
Tkachuk- Backlund - Frolik
How can you break up a line that did great shutting down other teams top line and still scored. One of the best lines last season.
Bennet- Jankowski - Brower
Move Bennet to the wing seems like his game is better there and Jankowski seems to do all the small stuff you want room a center. Hoping Brower has a bounce back season. They have some size and toughness. Could be a sleeper line like Backlunds line last year.
Lazar - Stajan - Bouma/Hathaway/Hamilton/
Can't See versteeg signing here so live with the expensive 4th line. You can count on this line to play well and play with energy and character. Not a bad 4th line really.Would love to see Iggy sign here and do the fairwell season think he has a little left and could have a bounce back season but that's more nostalgia speaking then how you build a cup contender.
Giordano - Hamilton
Don't break up a good thing.
Brodie - Hamonic
Lots of potential here
Kulak/Wotherspoon/Anderson - Stone
The question is will stone sign here. I think he does gives us a solid 3rd pair that you can play and have little worry about. Allows a young guy to play decent minutes.
7th - Bartowski Not a prospect but so he can play when you need him too and allow the rest to play big minutes in stockton.
Smith
I think he will fit in nicely. Played on a weaker coyotes team last year so he should have an easier time. I think this defence will allow him to see the puck.
Johnson
Guy is a great back up borderline starter. Sign him and let Smith get decent rest like Lundqvist last year. This team needs a big run in the playoffs they are not built for a first round exit.
