Just a hard year to be a Flames fan. Can't remember a time I've had less fun following the team.

-No Playoffs to look forward to
-No Draft to look forward to
-No Arena to look forward to

Fun times.

What to say after that...
Completely fell apart after that atrocious 5 on 3. Just standing around. GG and co have no feel for this team and are incapable of adjustments. We can outplay the other team, but if even the slightest thing goes against them, they FOLD. This season feels kinda like the opposite of the 2014-15 season as someone mentioned in the GT.
Flames can't get scoring when they need to, or when they do get scoring, the goaltending and special teams sh** themselves. So ****ing tired of this. It's been this way all season.
They can NEVER get MOST of these aspects going at the same time even for a even a SMALL stretch consistently. This season has been a complete failure and a waste, especially with Johnny having such a great offensive season, and not having a first round pick. Completely wasted. Don't know what else to type. So frustrating.

GG and Cameron better NOT be back next season. Treliving has to make a change this off-season.
Watch our pick win the f'n lottery too. That'd be the Flames luck.

Spoiler!

Smith had an awful night and caused the game, but considering how many wins he got on his own this season, it balances out I suppose.

10 games till Gulutzan is finally shown the door. Should've been done at Christmas. May actually have playoff hockey then.

Wow Kane. I wish the Flames had more guys who played hockey that well. I don't care.about 2way game or character, this team needs a guy like him.

That didn't look like a "must win" game in any way at all for the Flames.

It's so maddening that the Flames can play a great game against the Oilers then crap the bed in the next game against the Sharks. Gully doesn't know how to motivate the players and the players themselves lack the ability to stay focused on the game at hand.

1) Yes this game was on Smith by and large.
2) Circle your calendars. April 9th. Later Gully.

4 goals should have been enough to win. Typical home game with no power play, weak goal against, and a collapse at the first sign of adversity.

8-2 is not impossible but I've pretty much given up.

Good news is I dont have to pay attention to this team until the offseason now. If GG isnt fired quickly after game 82, Tre can get his ass canned too.
