Help, save, whatever.

J VR scores again! x2! If he keeps up the pace he has been at these last 2 games according to my calculations he will score all the goals.

Isles goalie Christopher Gibson gives up a stinker to Orlov. 3-2 Caps.

This scoreboard watching is just stressful. I wish I could avoid it and just hope the Flames can win their games, but I must enjoy punishment

Exactly, and the Avs are even more of a one line team than the Flames are, yet they might make the playoffs and it's not looking good for the Flames to do that.

Obviously want the Avs to lose but that also means the flames don't get passed by the blues tonight. So it's not ideal, but there is a silver lining if the Avs do win tonight.

The Jets have taken off at supersonic speeds, they lead 5-1 after twenty minutes!
The BJs lead 4-3 in the second period.

They came out on fire and went up 2-0 early. Trocheck scored on a PP goal here in the 2nd after the Bruins were dominating most of the period. That really turned the momentum back in the Panthers' favor. Reimer has done well to thwart the Bruin attack, but the whole team is committed pretty well right now.
I was going to chalk this up as an automatic loss. Not only are the Bruins one of the best teams in the league, but I think they've also won something like 5 straight at the BB&T Center. This has been a nice surprise, and I think this Panthers team is for real. They're going to be hard to stop if they make the playoffs. Not a good first round matchup for anyone.

Hopefully the Blues can tie it and get the win but I would sure hate for that game to go to OT

BTW, Panthers have the 2nd best record since the all-star break right after the Nashville Predators, and AHEAD of the Bruins. Took them a while to figure it out under Boughner, but clearly he was the right man for the job.
They still need to improve the team defense some nights, but they are quick and they have some very good offensive players. If Luongo stays healthy, they look strong.

Ekblad just filled in Pastrnak at the side of the net. Ek didn't have a stick as he had broke it just a moment earlier.

Reimer playing incredibly well tonight. He's a weird goalie to figure out. One of the best backup goalies in the game, but put him in a starter's role, he'll peter out after 10 games and look absolutely terrible. Is it as simple as conditioning with him? No idea. I'm sure Leafs fans have an opinion.
