Practice notes March 15: Tkachuk out against Sharks. No timeline for return.

Still no Matthew Tkachuk for this morning's skate.
Also, no Sean Monahan but his absence isn't as concerning. Been dealing with *some type of injury* for a while now.
Kris Versteeg is skating on a line with Hathaway and Shore. Jankowski is in Monahan's spot w/Gaudreau and Ferland. A very much "lines-in-the-blender" kind of day.

Taking a while to get to 5000
|
Jankowski as a spot filler could mean he sits again, but who knows at this point. Lines in a blender kind of day suggests they all moved around a bit.

He's concussed. Could be a week. Could be the rest of the season. Who knows. Hopefully he makes it back sooner rather than later.
Its too bad as Tkachuk seems to bring that A game against the Sharks

Time for Bennett to seize this opportunity of playing with Backlund and Frolik. If he can regain his confidence that he had in his rookie year by playing with them, it might take the sting out of the Tkachuk injury. Possibly a small silver lining.
