Uh? How many generational talents can you have in one generation?
In Edmonton, all the talents are generational.

Seems like Spector has shifted to covering the Jets for the rest of the season? The last couple of articles he wrote were on the Jets and I haven’t read an Oilers piece from him in weeks. I love reading articles on the Oilers when they lose the night before.

Will McDavid’s Oilers be the Golden State Warriors of the NHL?

“Of course, this is a mouthful for a team that has been lodged in last place for a decade, but I will only note how rare it is for teams that pick up generational talents to remain weaklings. Instead, they start to take on the aura of their best player.

“If all goes well for the Oilers, if McDavid stays healthy and if Puljujarvi develops as is hoped and expected, Edmonton may well eventually be known far and wide for their unique ability to make scoring plays at a high speed...”

One of many who is too boring; thinks that there should be rules regarding grammar in custom user titles, and also makes moderators wonder if there is a charachter limit here. I mean come on- you would think that would be a limitation in the software

Pierre Mcguire was right. The Oilers DID build "something special."

They built perhaps the lowest probability team of all time with four first overall draft picks, arguably the best player in a decade which inexplicably has not improved in nearly fifteen years.

As many Giordanos as they have...obviously.

He's still doing Oilers articles but RSN probably wants to get their money out of him and assigned him to cover a team that's going to make the playoffs.

For a team that constantly has things blowing up in their face... that's a brave GIF for them to offer the world...
