De Bruyne does this at the start of every year he's healthy, comes out looking like the best player in the world. Unreal combo of vision and skill.

Feels like the Champions League game again, Spurs getting absolutely dominated but are taking their chances.

Wow handball. Spurs saved by VAR again.

VAR, the only three letter acronym that can beat UAE.

That was a bit lame ruling out that goal over an accidental handball. Wondered would it have been a penalty if that happened to a defender - probably not for me. Good game to watch anyway.

It's been called that way in the CL the last year, and that's how the PL intends to call it this year

Spurs getting a point from that game was highway robbery even without the VAR. That back 4 is looking like a real problem for this year, which will only get worse if Toby and/or Vertonghen are sold.

If De Bruyne is healthy this year, there is absolutely no hope - sorry, Locke. I think he is the most important player in the league. They can obviously win without him too, but with him, it will not be all that competitive.
I liked Cebalos for Arsenal - looks like a real good player. Luiz was alright, but their defense is still atrocious.

He just usually doesnt seem to maintain that dominance all season. That being said though, hes an amazing player. Why did Chelsea sell him again?

VAR is going to make this an interesting season.

I don't it looked that bad today, especially being the first time they've played together and missing our first choice fullbacks on both sides.
Burnley is also a decent side, Ashley Barnes has more goals in 2019 than almost anyone.

We will see over the next 2 big matches against Liverpool and Spurs.

lucky point for Chelsea in the end. Leicester should have won this.

Maybe Sarri knew what he was doing - they are terrible defensively - so the solution was to try to hold the ball for 75% of the game and roll it around.

It's actually a very clear ruling based on a new rule.
Quote:
"Any goal scored or created with the use of the hand or arm will be disallowed this season, even if it is accidental,"
The accidental bit is subject to interpretation for defenders but not for attackers.

Harsh? Yes. But nice and clear and equal for all.
