So looking at the qualification times from men's PGS, the bib numbers of the top qualifiers (which also indicate start sequence) are 12, 20, 14, 8, 16. Anderson was 22, so while he might be right that course maintenance was below par, it didn't seem to affect the other athletes as much as it affected him.

Ester Ledecká, who basically won Super-G in alpine skiing by accident on a pair of borrowed skis, claimed gold in her primary event as the Czech sailed to the finish of the snowboard parallel slalom well ahead of silver medalist Selina Joerg.

Ledecká stormed through the event like the favorite she entered the Games as, torching opponents with finesse and strength (while possibly benefitting from running the red course of the slalom, which appears to have been a slightly faster track). Even before entering the final, she’d become the first person to medal in two unrelated events at the same Olympics since Katherine Rawls earned silver in diving and bronze in swimming in 1936. The only other Olympian, ever, to win gold in different sports at the same Olympics was Carl Schuhmann who won gymnastics and wrestling in 1896.

I think I know who's going to be Czechia's flag bearer for the closing ceremony.

Even with the camera being at a slight angle, it doesn't account for that.

Oh well blue needed all the advantages it got.

All the visible brown grass on the cross country course looks out of place.

I dunno. The Finn upped the lead by another 10 seconds over the group of 3 that Harvey is in (4th, 5th, 6th).
I hope not but think it might be over. We'll see

Every time I see an OAR I just don't trust them. After watching that Doc on Netflix they're all cheaters to me. Canada will hopefully win silver in Hockey despite not playing in the Final.

I like the pit stops in cross country.

And just heard JJAs comments, sounds like he knew what he was talking about them not grooming the course. And said he chose the wrong board set up because he thought they would. 'they all have rakes but they arent using them' is close to his quote.

Harvey maybe could have a shot at bronze, assuming the pack hauls in the third place guy who is faltering some.
And yeah, looks like the guy from the nation of cheaters will win

He was in the Harvey pack. He made the move while Harvey and the Norwegians did not.

It isn't quite fabricating a fake robbery in a Rio gas station, but it isn't a good look.

Amazing. He's raced an hour alone.

The Russian messed up. Didn't get new wheels.

Unfortunately Harvey and the Norwegians were too busy with each other they let 3 guys go.
