This tournament ended when the rain came Wednesday. I expect Thiem to get annihilated on Sunday. Women's final should be good though.

Vamanos, what a win! I'm not sure Senator, the final should be very intriguing. For Nadal to win the trophy he will have to have beaten Schwatzman, Del Potro and Thiem ended up being a tough draw after all.

No it won't be remotely intriguing lol, women's final is 10 times more intriguing. Thiem got blasted off the court last year, and he's definitely not any better this year. Rafa could choke I suppose, but that's the only way this match has any intrigue. I'll predict 6-2, 6-0, 6-3.

I think Nadal will win (really going out on a limb there lol), but I also think Thiem will take a set. Rafa wins 5-7 6-4 6-3 6-3.

I like the confidence and I hope your right. Thiem to me tho is the 2nd best clay court player in the world and the only man to beat Nadal on clay the last two years.

In three sets, after Rafa had already played an extensive amount in that spring. Thiem's only hope is for very heavy conditions, if it's fast and dry it's gonna be a laugher like last year's final.

I mean I hope it's a great final, I just don't see it. Theim is gonna have to go for absolute broke, might end up with 90 errors but with 75 winners to offset it. But it's his first major final against the most dominant player in the history of the surface. I expect he's timid, and if he is he's going to get blasted.

He will keep it close but 3-1 is the best outcome I can see. This is the final most people would have predicted and the outcome is almost certain to follow the same script. Bring on the grass.

Since 1968 only two men have reached the finals of a single grand slam 11 times....Federer at Wimbledon & Nadal at the French.

Stephens took the first set 6-3 but is down 3-2 in the second. Seems to be labouring more than Halep

Halep just looks like she has more gas in the tank. Wearing Stephens down, who isn't hitting as hard as usual

Geez, this match turned on its ear, since 6-3 2-0 for Stephens, Halep has won 9 games, Sloane has won 2.

Kinda reminds me of last year when Halep was up a set and a break and Ostapenko just caught fire to close it out. Although unlike last year, it's more that Stephens has slowed down than Halep has caught fire. This is also a match I'd file under "compelling" rather than "great", tons of errors but lots of drama.
