David Perron is a healthy scratch for St. Louis today - Boeser opens the scoring with a nice pinball shot off the back glass and then off the back of Jake Allen.

Bang bang and it's 3-0 Canucks and Jake Allen has been yanked. The Blues are terrible.

Pettersson has been on the ice for less than 3 minutes and he has 3 points.

2-1 Jets.
Shots are 17-6 for the flyers. Goaltending in Philly is still no good.

I have said this a couple times before...
The 2018–19 Canucks are eerily similar to the 2014–15 Flames: A young team with rookie and a second-year star players, and a good second-line shut-down centre. They get pretty consistently outplayed, but manage opportunistic scoring and win on excellent goaltending and solid coaching.
And get this ... after a blistering start to the season the Flames hit a 0-8-0 stretch in December, not so dissimilar from Vancouver's recent 1-10-2 run of futility.
I don't think they will make the playoffs, but they will get pretty close.

Pettersson is amazing. It makes me sad that once again in our rebuild we havent got a #1C. Feels like our team is cursed at Centre. Dont get me wrong i love our team but i just wish Bennett didnt bust.

Petterson is an incredible talent. This is his second 5 point game of the season. Plus he doesn't ###### or dive it up like Canucks stars of the past (at least, not that I've seen).
I'd prefer Calgary's depth overall, but don't think they lack elite talent either. To my mind a bit of grit and a bit more certainty in goal are all the Flames need at the moment.

What on earth is it going to take for someone to fire Dave Hakstol?

Its coming. Fletch just killed some time for optics.
On another front: Seems Raanta is out for the season/indefinitely with a lower body injury.
Bye bye Coyotes season. Unless Kuemper or Hill can carry the load.

Shea Weber with a classic Shea Weber bomb. Man I kind of miss hearing that thing go off.
Remember the TC goal he scored where it went through the netting?
