If Flames win the draw or gain possession or that puck bounces to the Flames instead of back out front, JG and SM likely out pace Benn and Seguin and the Flames win in that first shift.
It comes down to one or two very subtle occurances in OT, where a player pinches 3 feet too far or turns the wrong way when peeling back to defend, especially against a guy like JG. . Not sure any of our defensive forwards (ala Backlund) that Peters would throw out, would fare much better vs those two. So, hope for the luck to go our way (which includes a better Rittich play on the puck) and a 2 on 1 generated.
