just a friendly reminder for those who own a 360.

Due to all the xbox live problems recent, Microsoft is giving everyone Undertow for free as compensation for the Live down time. It's available to be downloaded today for about a week.

I recently tried Undertow out. What the heck is going on in it?

The narration/voice acting is probably the best part. It's so terrible that it loops back on to being awesome again. Video game cliche's at it's best!

But the battles make no sense. I swim around as a driver shoot a machine gun (??) at other divers and battle ships or something. But I take 2 shots and I'm dead. Plus, some games I totally dominate the AI while others I get my ass handed to me. And depth charges just seem to kill me, although that might be due to my habit of dropping them in-front of me and running into them myself.

Any other opinions on the game?

it's sorta like the domination mode from unreal tournament back in the day. Have to occupy all the bases or most of them when time runs out. You can change your character at a base, and ungrade your character.

Personally, it's not my kind of game. I was expected a side-scrolling under water shooter. I will admit it would be fun to play multiplayer with friends, but not my cup of tea. At least it's a decent free game (unlike the Yaris one)

I downloaded it, but it keeps asking me to sign in with a profile, although I already did...

Oh well, first day with xbox live and I haven't put too much energy into it.

I don't think its a bad game considering the fact that I didn't pay anything for it.
