Default Audio Video equipment and the pricing.

Ok, so I'm looking to get a new receiver and I'm starting to get a little frustrated with the pricing difference between US stores and Canadian stores.

I was wondering if anyone could point me to a fair priced Canadian store with a good selection of brands or a reputable US store that ships to Canada without hassle.

The new goggles also do nothing.

Both are tough.

http://www.electronicsforless.ca/ I've used before and they were very nice to deal with. But I found when I was looking I had to scour and scour to find even the ones I was interested in let alone at decent prices.

For the ones from the US, ecost.com does ship here and has all the costs up front, but I also found it difficult to find a retailer that shipped that kind of thing up here.

And in some cases you'd likely be without a warranty as well, so I was tempted to just buy one off eBay.

You can try Vann's from the US. The have 6 locations in Montana, in addition to their large online side. Unfortunately, they dont ship to Canada, but Kalispell is only 4-5 hours away. Might be worth it for a huge ticket item.

The best Canadian retailers I have found are Complete-IT and AVDeals. AVDeals mostly deals with panels and projectors, and other hard core equipment. Complete-IT has all of that as well, but does have some receivers.
