If Bottas leaves Mercedes he will have nowhere to go unless he goes to Alfa Romeo.

Because that's not and never has been in that team's DNA, even when you go back as far as the BAR Honda days.

Says Wolf cannot Ignore Vettels availability. Who knows. But a German team going after a German driver isn't the craziest theory.
I think Vettel would be #3 on the list behind Bottas and a kid like Russell. I should have said primed for a seat IF available.

When asked in Austria, if Vettel could indeed be on Mercedes’ radar, Wolff said that he wouldn’t rule out a move for Vettel just yet. However, he also confirmed that Mercedes’ number 1 priority would be keeping both Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas.
“He’s a great guy and we mustn’t not consider him, but our priority is Lewis and Valtteri and we very much hope to extend their contracts.” Wolff said, as quoted by 5 livesport.

To me that reads like "if our drivers do something crazy and leave us, then we will consider it, but we want Bottas and Hamilton". And after Vettel's performance ion Austria? Probably even less interested.

I've got GRID Autosport on my Switch, and decided to try the Red Bull Ring. I tried going around the outside on turn 4. It went as well for me as it did for Albon. I was driving a Formula 2 car and had to turn damage off just to survive 3 laps. I'm more of a Grojean than a Hamilton.

In GT Sport that corner is so easy to defend, basically going into the corner the same way Hamilton did making the other car go wide, they can never pass on that corner, I usually can always defend there but then can have trouble coming out of turn 7 to keep cars behind going into turn 9.

I've found the AI to not be very aggressive once you get in front, so ya, if the chance is there I Ricciardo every chance I can. Brake really late, take the inside, and force them out. Only problem is it is a really slow way to take a corner so you end up falling behind the cars in front.

Vettel and Ricciardo crash into each other, Stroll breaks his car again, Grosjean spins and finishes bottom 2

Is there still time to join? I know I missed the first week (I am a pretty casual fan, didn't even realize F1 had started up again) but would be willing to start from the back of the grid.
