Yelesin, because he was already very good in the 2nd (3rd?) best league in the world. I also value defensemen more than wingers.

Koumontzis might be a decent player long-term, but it's hard to be sure of that at this point in his development. Far more likely to be a bust than Yelesin.

KHL all star at 23 is pretty good for a defensemen, so him. He’s much further along that the other options

Voted for Koum the first time but forgot about Yelesin.
Shifting my vote to him in the run off.

Should I abstain if I didn't vote for either of them?

Nah... I'll vote for the right shot defenceman with a bit of an edge, who already has a contract.

I am not convinced the Koumontzis is any better of a prospect than Agostino was. But he is smaller, so it will be even more of a challenge for him.

Had to go with Yelesin.

Yelesin. I honestly think once the dust settles out of camp, he's the RHD for pairing #3.

Assuming you mean with Brodie being traded, and not because Brodie and Yelesin surpass Andersson, that means...

I am indeed assuming one of the D men are being traded before camp. Battle will be between Yelesin and Kylington IMO.

Gio-Andersson
Hanifin-Hammer
Valimaki-Yelesin
Kylington

Yelesin I think is going to transition perfectly to the NHL. He's right in the middle of the road for all imortant traits like skating, IQ, hitting, defensive awareness. Bomb of a shot too. Could use another good RHS bomb after Andersson.

If Brodie is traded, I'd be really surprised if Stone doesn't start as the 3RD.

Not enough Greeks in the League so I've got to go with him until Russia annexes Greece.
