Novak following Roger's gameplan from Friday, tanking this second set.

Roger with the Kyrgios no-look cross-court dropper.

I understand why you tank that set if you're Novak, but he didn't make Roger work all that much.

It's like Bernard Tomic took over Djoker's body in that 2nd set.

If so it's a terrible strategy. Federer didn't have to work hard there either. Now he basically gets to play a 3 set match with plenty of energy left if it goes the distance.

The only thing that would worry me if I were in the Federer camp is having his own level drop and become loose in response, and not be able to get it back.

Djoker better be careful or Wimbledon will dock his prize money after that set

Maybe it wasn't tanking. Novak still looking lifeless at the start of the third.

It's weird that he hasn't been more vocal to pump himself up, haven't seen him yelling or fist pumping like he usually does

He seems to think that if he gets behind in a Federer service game, he'll just concede the game. Seems to be playing for the tiebreak. Odd, but Federer is indeed serving well.

Bizarre as the strategy has been, you can't say it isn't working for Novak. I suspect he won't be tanking this fourth set though.

Yeah I think that set point Roger had at 4-5 was basically match point for him as it turned out.

Just a really bizarre match overall. I don't think Roger has even been taken to deuce on his serve and he's down two sets to one.

It's definitely over. Novak doesn't blow it when he's this close to the finish line and Roger has been dreadful in the big points today.

Plus, no matter what happened today, Roger needed at least 2 of the first 3 sets. Had a real shot at all 3...
