All 8 episodes at once! Nice.

I'm only a couple episodes in.. It's kind of amazing so far. I was expecting something kind of safe within the bounds of the original. But the black comedy level is turned way up with all sorts of semi-ironic sex and violence, but still feels consistent with the original series. It's way better than that movie they made.

Late to the party but my wife and I have been watching "Better Call Saul" and love it -- really burning through it too (by our standards) - halfway through season 2 in just a few weeks. Great show! I know it's a prequel to Breaking Bad and Jimmy is in that series as well, but we haven't actually watched Breaking Bad so we're not sure how things turn out for him (though I think we will after we get caught up on Saul now).

both tremendous shows...interesting that you will be seeing it in 'reverse' in someways compared to others that started with Breaking Bad.

BCS does allude to what has befallen Jimmy as a result of the events of Breaking Bad however, through the scenes in the present...

i didn't think Gilligan and the rest of the BB team could pull off a show that would be as good as Breaking Bad, but Better Call Saul has been exactly that.

Funny, I opened this thread just to talk about how much I've loved better call Saul since I just started it the other day. Fantastic so far, and I wanted to add how I think they cast each character perfectly.

Going to have to watch Breaking Bad again since I never did finish it

Anyone watching The Boys? Not for the faint of heart but easily the best superhero series I've seen to date.

I tend to not enjoy shows based around drugs, so didn't particularly care for Breaking Bad. Should I give Better Call Saul a try though?

Better Call Saul is like breaking bad, but drugs are pretty far from the core story. BCS also never comes close to matching the intensity of BB, but it also isn't plagued with boring characters sucking up screen time. You can watch BCS without having seen BB, it stands on it's own.

Absolutely. Same great writing and filming style but totally different topic. You might not fully understand all of the stuff and people Mike is doing and meeting but you'll pick up enough to enjoy it, and the main storyline stands on its own

It's pretty amazing. By far my favorite new show. It's basically like Brightburn but on a bigger scale.

Watching From the Earth to the Moon, from Tom Hanks. What an awesome series. It has historical footage mixed in with a dramatization. How have I never heard of this until now? 9.5/10 It’s on video on demand.

There's a really old series on Netflix that I just started watching. I think it's called Baddest Break, or something? Anyway, it's about this guy who has lung cancer but he's a chemistry teacher with an RV and he goes on a road trip to the desert with an old student who's now a druggie...

So far it seems pretty good, but I'm not overly fond of his choice of underwear. Also his wife is a bit of a control freak and his sister in law seems hot, but in a weird way.

God forgive me, I just saw most of the 90210 reboot...and I kinda enjoyed it. There are some genuinely funny moments.

If you are into the Mexocan drug cartel stuff Queen of the South is one we have been watching. Not the best but lots of action, shoot em up etc in this one.
We just started watching a new one called Pennyworth. Wife watches Gotham and says similar as far a young Batman story. Very young Alfred is main character and Bruce Wayne dad. Only 2 episodeds in so will leave review for a few more episodes.
