It could be during season 2 and the first part of season 3 before he showed up again.

I just don't think there's a plausible way to shoehorn a trip to Texas and back in Morgan's past, especially since we have a pretty good idea of what his entire post-apocalyptic life has been like.
It was what 8 Months between Lori being pregnant in S2 and having Judith in the season 3 premier.

Just watched the last episode.
It seemed oddly disjointed, jumping around a lot.
Also, can we not just A-Bomb the garbage people?

Don't they have heavy machine guns now? You'd think you could just point those suckers at the junkyard and let 'er rip.
Also I hope Rick had a better plan than walking in there alone and saying "hey, remember when you betrayed us that time and shot me? Well I want to try another alliance with you."

How much strength do the Saviors still actually have?
I mean it looks like the Kingdom/Hilltop/Alexandria alliance took out all of the Savior outposts and lots of their soldiers
Negan's lieutenants were pretty close to being overthrown by a worker's revolt and whatever is left seems to be trapped by the massive zombie herd that Rick led there and are unable to fight their way out.
Just seems confusing to me as to what kind of numbers are left.

Your post make me remember what else I found confusing.
At the end when M & R were in that building where the couple were making a poor man's Coma-Doof Warrior's truck, it seemed like there was a pair of boots walking around and whistling and IRRC carrying a bat with wire on it.
Anyone else see that?

One thing I wish they would have done this season is dedicated a portion of the 1st episode to the group going over their plan of attack.
"According to burned face guy the saviors have outposts here, here and here, this is how many look outs they have and where they are, they have about *insert number* soldiers at these locations, we are going to get these weapons here, etc, etc"
Without that it's just been a bit of a jumbled mess and hard to follow. Obviously I get what is going on overall, but like sureLoss said you have no idea how much damage they've actually done so far, stuff like that.

No mention of the ridiculous RPG death? My eyes rolled so far back I was looking at the headrest on my couch.

I think we will see poetic justice take care of them; a trash pile landslide that buries them all.

I think the directors are taking a sons of anarchy approach to this season. It seems like they are almost intentionally making it confusing so my guess is the plan is for everything to come together at the very end to make sense of it all. Everything going on right now has seemed planned from the group’s perspective, there’s been no real panic or hiccups(minus the Ezekiel sniper thing)

It WAS ridiculous. You are correct. But screw it. At this point the show is going to be dumb. If it's going to be dumb, let it at least be FUN and dumb.

I've been a big TWD fan so far.
But the show has fallen hard recently. The storyline is a part of it for sure, but I feel like their presentation style has changed as well and I've just been finding most episodes confusing more than anything, and that's from someone who knows the comics well.
Maybe that's hurting me with the current story run in fact? Either way, I've found most of the episodes in the last 1.5 seasons have been downright confusing and bad. I hope they improve, as I already gave up on FTWD last season.

It's The Walking Dead. They've done things that were even less plausible.
