The colour guy sounds just like Jamie McLennan to me, but that can’t be it, since I am quite sure he still works for TSN.

Lighting is off on the SN feed but the quality doesn't look too much different on those small screenshots.

It may be off but I like it brighter - the top one looks like it's through a yellow filter.

As an aside, why do we not have cameras that can capture the entire zone in one frame?

What a nice story. M.Subban gets his first win against the team waiving him.

Golden Knights are playing greater than the sum of their hodgepodge parts. I'm impressed. Gallant is a good coach.

What were the odds for the Knights to win the cup at the beginning of the season?

I know it likely won't happen, but they look like a good team with a great system so far. Their wins don't seem flukey at all. Hope they make the playoffs and surprise some people.

Just a well coached team. Said it at the time too, Panthers made a mistake getting rid of Gallant

Man, why'd they have to be the "golden" Knights.

just Knights would've made them a lot cooler. Never let these old rich dopes do their own branding.

The Sabres have given up 5 shorthanded goals in 6 games this year, to only two power play goals. They keep finding ways to reinvent the wheel of suck.

Not sure this is a serious comment since you do this kind of thing. It just looks like the difference between picking warm vs cool on the color temp setting.

There should be no "warm" or "cool" in production. Everything should be referenced to the industry standards (i.e. Rec. 709 = D6500K). Whatever Sportsnet is doing is not even close to standard.

Yeah, not a huge difference in sharpness, just a color tone difference. Do you just prefer warm tones or something?

I did however see their cameras were all configured to different color tones which was distracting. There are people with the station monitoring this, why they chose to do nothing about it is beyond me. Maybe just satisfied with half assed technical production work. The SNET way, it seems.
