Calgary Stampeders at Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Tim Hortons Field
Friday, Oct. 13
Kickoff: 5 p.m. MDT
TV: TSN, ESPN 2
Calgary Stampeders(12-1-1) already guaranteed a home game for Western Semi-Final. If they win against Hamilton and a BC Lions victory against Winnipeg will clinched a Western Division title for them. The last time the Stamps played the TiCats, they embarrassed them at McMahon Stadium with the score 60-1.
For Hamilton(4-10) they will need to win against the Stampeders in order to have a chance for a playoff spot. They are currently in 3rd in the East right now but that won't still qualify them for a playoff spot because Edmonton and Saskatchewan are ahead of them. A lost today and a win by Ottawa against the Riders will clinch a playoff spot for Ottawa.
OFFENSE:
QB Bo Levi Mitchell leave early last game against Montreal and also against Hamilton in July but still managed to throw 197 yards and 1 TD vs Ticats and 2 TDs for 265 yards vs Montreal. RB Terry Williams who played in place of Jerome Messam vs Montreal had a great game rushing for 156 yards and scoring 3 rushing TDs that earned him the CFL Player of the Week last week. Williams will be in a lineup today even though Jerome Messam, who happened to played his best game this season against Hamilton with 3 TDs for 91 yards, will be back on the roster.
R Davaris Daniels and Kamar Jorden will be back in the lineup after missing several games. With both receivers back, Stamps managed to keep both R Marken Michel and Reggie Begelton, who have been very impressive in the last few games, in the active roster.
DEFENSE:
MLB Alex Singleton had a great game against Montreal before the Bye-week with 8 tackles. The last time Stamps played Hamilton, Shaq Richardson had a quick 6, Charleston Hughes had 1 sack. Hughes did not record a sack last game(vs Montreal) but James Vaughter, Derek Wiggan and Ja'Gared Davis each had 1 QB sack. Davis also recorded a fumble recovery.
SPECIAL TEAM:

His replacement Tunde Adeleke on punt return scored a PR touchdown on the first return after Finch left the game. Marken Michel, Tunde Adeleke and Terry Williams will be responsible for the return tonight.
Special team coverage will have to shut down Speedy Banks again tonight.
