As much as it makes no sense I like the tradition of a National League and an American League.

The foul tip? Absolutely horrendous. Genuinely one of the worst calls and decision making processes I've ever seen in baseball.

Yeah, just brutal. They should be embarrassed of themselves when they see that wasn't even close.

I think the Dodgers are going to be tough to beat for either Houston or NY.

Yeah and I thought the Indians and Astros were going to be tough for the Yankees to beat as well. Especially after being down 0-2 in both series as well as the Yankees being a combined 4-10 against those two teams this season.

Astros need to win 2 games at home so far from impossible. But about 6 guys on that lineup aren’t hitting at all. Many of them veterans.

The Yankees are very beatable if a couple of those guys can put it together.

The Dodgers have motored through the playoffs thus far, they are living up to their regular season billing. The Yankees have faced two teams who completely fell apart on offence, dead bats.

I still think the Astros are going to win the series, what they have left as they face the Dodgers remains to be seen.

If I remember correctly, the Astros offense were pretty impressive in the ALDS against the Red Sox and the bats didn't go quiet until they play the Yankees. Something about these Yankees makes me believe they are capable of shutting down the Dodgers' offence too if they do advance.

As expected it is a pitcher's duel through 4 innings. The Astros have not scored a run in 15 innings.

Astros bats are icicles. Up and down the lineup. Unable to adapt to how the Yankees are pitching them. Springer, Resdick, McCann, Bergman in particular look lost. And Altuve pressing way too much.

The Astros scored a run! Also the bases are loaded with 1 out. The game could be over soon the way Verlander is pitching.

Edit: 3-0 Houston after 5.

Butt clench time. Astros bats are still cold (3 hits) but timely. Verlander a monster and Springer’s catch a beauty. Come on Astros!
