How has Milos never made the QF of the US Open that's insane.

So, I can't be the only one jumping on the Brooksby bandwagon at least for one night, right?

No thanks, I'd rather see the history of the first Canadian man win a Grand Slam

To be fair, Zverev and Medvedev will easily bounce the Djokovic that played against Kei.

Yeah but the Djokovic that played against Kei was the Djokovic that was required against Kei. He doesn't always give you full Djokovic until he needs to. You just have to hope he doesn't flip the switch in time.
Anyway, yes, I'll be cheering for Brooksby just to provide an easier path for Felix, but Felix really needs to get Alcaraz done in straights, which would be no mean feat. The kid seems to just get better as matches go on. Tsitsipas looked like someone walked over his grave in his post game presser talking about the level Alcaraz got to in the fifth and, well, he just bageled a guy in that set in the second week of a major tournament. You can't give him any momentum.

So far this past week, I’ve cheered for a lefty swinging a yellow Babolat racquet, a powerful baseliner with Uncle Toni in his box, and a Spaniard yelling “Vamos!” after hitting a big winner. What is happening to me?

This is a bad tweet for a couple of reasons:
1. If you have video proof, then include it in the tweet
2. Does Pam know that's not her dad in the player's box, but Leylah's fitness coach? I mean, Leylah herself has said it several times, you'd think Pam would know that.

Oh, Pam.
I guess her nonsense on Twitter is better than her incessant chattering during play.

I guess I would like to have more details (video proof being the best) that actual coaching is occurring. For example, when Carlos Ramos gave Serena the code violation for coaching in the final against Naomi, you could see the signals that Mouratoglou was providing. All I've seen thus far is enthusiastic cheering and I'm pretty sure that's allowed. It's just poor form in my opinion to make such a charge with nothing to back it up.

The umpire in the Bencic match looks 12. Very new.

I was thinking the same thing - Did they promote a ball kid to umpire this match?
