Gifts have arrived. Thanks to the CPer's that dropped them off. Now to open them or wait until Christmas.

We have this game and it’s not horrible. It’s kind of amusing and fun, and the kids seemed to like it. We just enjoy games, so this isn’t exactly a high bar. I think you have to complete paintings by gathering the right brushes and colours and increase your “chill” points or something like that.

Thanks to my secret Santa!

Got a pizza stone and the ingredients for a home made pizza.

Got a picture before it had to go back in the oven but it was a great Covid activity. The next one will be better!

Spoiler!

Alright well whomever my secret santa is/was hit an absolute homerun! I should try to post a picture, but I think they went off the list and I'm super excited about this!

When I crack this bottle, maybe I'll just post in the forum.drunkpuck.com instead!

thank you very much to whomever this was though!

Spoiler!
Hmm looks like you put the pizza on the stone without pre-heating?
The stone is supposed to go in the oven and get hot, before transferring the pizza on to get the crispy crust.

I find a light glaze of olive oil on the crust with a brush helps crisps a pizza up nicely

Close! I preheated it but really flubbed the dough, so it was half cool by the time I got it back in the oven.

I figured I could just do it like I see on TV and it didn't work that way haha.

I am going to kill next time time though, watched some videos after the first try.

Update! You now have the full weekend to anticipate the delivery of your present. Apparently there is some heavy traffic in the North Pole this season.

Opened up my gift from my secret Santa! It’s awesome. Thanks! Was planning to get into arduino this winter with the purpose of making the house a smart home. So this actually works so perfectly as a learning tool.

It is a smart home kit for Arduino. Wrapped it up and put it under the Christmas tree to open it up again on Christmas. Looks like a lot of fun!
Thank you!

My SANTA did a super secret drop at my home yesterday. I was greeted with a large Christmas tin of sugar and chocolate cookies. I’d take a photo and post it but all that is left is a empty container slowly coming to the end of a spin after my family laid destruction upon it!

Also included was a very generous certificate for one night at Ingelwoods Novel Bed and Breakfast.

I can’t wait for restrictions to ease so my wife and I can send the kids to their grandparents for a night and we can sink in for a relaxing evening with dinner and a cozy suite.

A very large thank you to my Santa for this gift. I am very grateful as is my wife. Very kind of you.

Postman showed up before the snow began to fly. I got super spoiled from my Secret Santa. Lots of chocolates and candies, but the crown jewel is a 1913 model T replica still in the packaging bought from The Bay in 1988. And crazy enough, our family sold 1939 Ford Deluxe that had been in our family since new this summer. So, clearly we needed to add another Ford antique to our fleet and this one is much more manageable than the full sized version. Thanks again Secret Santa, it’s a great gift! Merry Christmas all!
