White YouTube screen?

Is anyone else having an issue with YouTube? Some of the videos I view have audio, but the video is just white. I've googled the issue, but most of the information doesn't relate to me (Mac, viewing YouTube on Chrome). Someone I work with mentioned YouTube dealing with a lot of traffic lately, but don't they deal with that on a daily basis?

I was able to find out the answer from a friend. I thought I would pass it on, just in case someone else has the issue now or down the road:

It looks like Chrome's latest update isn't jiving well with Flash. For now, right click on the video, select "Settings" and disable "Hardware Acceleration".

I wonder if that works with Firefox too... it and Flash aren't getting along either for me. Or maybe it's just Flash.

Same, the XM Online player uses flash and has recently started causing Firefox to crash. Forcing me use IE for XM.
