getting that 4th rounder is great, probably the first one in that round and close to 100th. Steelers could also get a compensatory 3rd for Bell, so at least they'll still have some decent picks in the middle rounds.

It's going to suck huge for the Dophins these next two years, but damn are they going to have a lot of Draft capital to spend. If their scouts have a shred of competency, they are going to accumulate a serious haul of players in the next two drafts. No coincidence that it looks to come to a head when Brady is like 44 years old.

That is a really risky move for the Steelers given that they are 0-2 and that they know they will be playing without their QB for the entire season. I don't know if it will be a top 10 pick, but at this point I don't think it's too likely the Steelers win more than 8 games which will put the pick in the middle of the first round, and if the Browns are somewhat for real, and we know the Ravens are, it could be a 6-10 season for the Steelers which would have this pick in the top 10 for sure.

Giants are benching Eli. Daniel Jones is the new starter.

Assuming Trubisky remains hopelessly mediocre, Eli to the Bears makes some sense. If you're stuck with a replacement level QB, might as well have one who turns into a legend in the playoffs.

That’s terrible news for the rest of the league. Eli was the chosen one, if he’s not around to stop the Pats what’s the point of the season? Foles is out as well so all hope is lost. Good effort boys, it was a fun year.

Doubtful he moves anywhere. No trade clause among other things.

Wife and kids and life has been in NJ for 15 years and the Bears dont look all that threatening either other than their defense.

The Jets though?

I mean I guess we'll see right? It's gonna come down to who has QB injuries/issues and how appealing the situation looks. Speaking of Eli saving us from the Patriots, what if Brady gets an ACL next week? Pats have a made to win roster and elite coaching. Whether they'd want Eli, who knows, but I imagine in the right situation he will go. He'd be a pure rental so I'm not sure family would be a huge factor.

Eh, first time in the playoffs. And Mahomes somehow looks even better this year. I wouldn't have predicted that.

EDIT: Also, it was an OT loss. Not like it wasn't close. The difference was the rushing game, not at QB - Tom threw two picks.

Pats are -22.5 against the Jets and the Cowboys are -21.0 against the dolphins.

Is 22.5 one of the highest ever spreads?

We all know Josh Allen is taking down the Pats dynasty, it is written.

Until the Chiefs find a combination of pass rush and defensive backs to support Mahomes to the point where he can put up 28 points and win a game, I don't think there is much he can do.

He lost 5 games last year where he lead the team to 40, 51, 28 and 31 and 31 points. 71 total points against New England to come out with an 0-2 record.

Going back to 2013 Brady has last 4 total games including playoffs in which he lead his team to 28 or more points with 33 being the highest total in a loss (Superbowl to the Eagles). Two other times he lost putting up 27 points.

Realisitcally the only thing in the AFC that has ever been a nuisance to the Patriots has been the Ravens under John Harbaugh or the one time Peyton Manning lead that comeback against him, plus the two other times he had an elite defence backing him in Denver, and paniced Emperor Bellichick into forgetting that field goals could have helped him win the game.

Ravens are probably a better bet this year than the Chiefs once you consider the defenses.

Which is why if you're the Chiefs you gotta be looking at Ramsey even if it's expensive and it's only a rental. When Mahomes is making eleventy billion a year it's gonna be tougher to have a good defense.

I have a suspicion that we will see Brady come down to earth a bit against some better teams this year.. It will start when the 8-0 Pats lose to the 7-0 Ravens.

Agreed. I've seen a bunch of people saying the Seahawks are front runners, but they need a safety not a corner, and Ramsey is totally antithetical to their whole organizational philosophy. The Chiefs make perfect sense.
