What a fight Medvedev put up tonight. Made Nadal earn that one, that’s for sure.

Medvedev "if you can change, and I can change, maybe we all can change. Better two men killing themselves out here than 20 million."

I always thought Marat Safin would win more slams. Probably didn't help the era he was a part of, injuries and some motivation issues but I did see flashes of him through Medvedev over the past two weeks: the feistiness, blasts from the corners, good forehand.

That was more of match of his life stuff from Medvedev than an expectation we'll see a double digit slam winner. He will probably win one and maybe a couple, but acting like he's going to end up as one of the all-time greats is laughable.

Leylah Annie Fernandez makes the main draw for the WTA tourney in Hiroshima, Japan as she won her final qualification match earlier tonight.

Leylah Annie Fernandez has qualified for the Japan Open in Hiroshima. It's the first time she has ever qualified for a WTA event.

PK Subban cheering for Nadal, making sure Lindsey Vonn doens't make too much noise for Medvedev

Why do I think Medvedev is going to win a bunch of grand slams? Because there is no one under 30 right now that can challenge him. We all thought it was Tsitsipas but he's 0-4 against Medvedev and didn't do much outside of Australia this year, Felix and Shapo may get there but there not there yet. Thiem took a step back outside of clay this year, and Zverev hasn't figured out how to win at a Grand Slam yet. He's got the physical game and the mental game to beat the big 3 and I think he's going to win either Australia or the US Open next year.

Medvedev has made it past the fourth round of a major a whopping once in his career, and now he's about to dominate the sport for years to come. Makes sense.

No one saw the rise of Djokovic. Plus the big 3 are getting older, they won't dominate forever.

Safin ran into the Federer wall more than a dozen times.
Safin had some pretty memorable matches against Hewitt. There was a lot of yelling

Actually literally everyone saw the rise of Djokovic, and Medvedev is 23 and not some teenager. I get you wanna inflate Rafa's accomplishment by stretching to say he beat a "sure to be legend", but just enjoy the win and try not the embarrass too much.

It's impossible to predict who will be the next big thing, but looking at the summer he had and the rise in his game I'm confident he will be a multi Grand Slam winner.

He'll probably win one, but then again maybe not. After all Zverev was your last "he'll be a legend" call, and we all know how that's worked out. I suppose he is actually a legend though, albeit not in the way you expected.

What does that even mean? It’s a picture of the big 3.
What the heck does the match yesterday have to do with it?
