Actually I just read that the 7 EPL teams involved in Europe don't enter until the 3rd Round. So we can't get goliath yet.
Quote:
The 13 Premier League teams not involved in European competitions will enter at this stage, along with the winners from the First Round plus Burnley and Hull City, who received a First Round bye. From the Second Round onwards, the teams are no longer split geographically. The draw for the Second Round will take place on 11 August 2010, after the First Round games had been completed, and the matches will be played in the week beginning 23 August 2010

Hey guys I just wanted to point out that this is the busiest football thread at CP BY FAR, putting the Premiership teams to shame as well as CP's so-called nemesis!
Way to go. Let's keep it up!!!!!

Absolutely! Hey Jagger, what do you think about the Jersey? Its strange, I think it might be the single most hideous Jersey I have ever seen, but I love it.

No its an old away Jersey, the writing is the names of all the players to ever play for Tranmere Rovers up to that season.
I've actually got this one, and I love it, I have another one coming too, but its White.

It's pretty terrible but, because of that, its awesome!
As for the names, I'm not sure as I know a lot of the old players and I don't recognize many. I'm also pretty sure a Susan never played for the first team!

I emailed their shop asking for jersey prices on this season's stuff. Need a scarf too.

Their new jerseys look nice actually, I'm not huge on the claret stuff, but the white stuff is quite nice. How are you planning on getting stuff from their shop? Its literally a bricks and mortar shop, not an online shop.
If you can get stuff I'd take a scarf too!

Looking at their website it says they've changed kit makers and thus are rebuilding their online shop now. They do provide an email addy and a phone number. So I emailed. Still waiting on them getting back to me.

Slightly dismayed that some of my CP comrades would take such delight in the downfall of our respective favourite teams.
I was at the Bournemouth match tonight - disappointing result, but great atmosphere in the away end.
I took with me a Swindon supporter whom I work with - happy at half time, not so much at full time.

I'm dismayed to find that while I think that jersey is kind of cool, everyone else seems to think not; or at least, cool for very different reasons than I do.
Do I understand the Cup system correctly: if the Rovers lose they are out?

Best of luck. I emailed them a couple weeks ago to ask about jerseys and still haven't received a reply.
