Default AC Adapters for Germany

So, I am leaving in about a week and a half, and I need to take my laptop, and I also am going to take my cell phone with me.

Since it is 220v over there (which my laptop battery pack is rated for), I am not so sure about the cell phone? If I remember correctly, when I plugged my cell phone into my laptop using my USB cable, it did seem like it charged the cell phone. I'll try it again tonight, and if that is the case, then I don't need to worry about my cell phone charger.

But in order for all this to work, I need to get a plug adapter for my laptop batter pack. Does anyone know where I can pick one up? Would rather get it worked out before I go, than try to find something in Germany.

I think you can find them in places like Sears or the Bay, at least that's where my wife found ours

Take a look on the adapter you have already. Many of them have an input range between 110 and 240V and 50-60Hz. If that does, then all you need is a universal plug adapter.

Otherwise depending on the phone, many of them can charge over USB.
