I don't care if people smoke up. I just find it annoying when stoners over the age of 15:
A) Use way too many terms to refer to weed (we get it there are like 15 million ways to smoke it
B) Insist on telling us all the reasons pot should be legailzied
C) Talk about how it's great for opening your mind and being all creative and crap....and then sit around eating Doritos and playing xbox.

2) There's more to St. Patricks day than just booze, yes it's a big part, but it's a big social event, and it's somewhat out of the ordianry.
3) As I've said before the people that celebrate 420 day are most likely the same folks that are doing it every day anyway, it may as well be sandwich day (which would actually be a holiday I could get behind)

National Sandwich Day: An Institution Celebrated
It's not just a cheesy excuse for a holiday or an opportunity for Subway to make more bread. National Sandwich Day is a celebration of convenience food, a true slice of life.
By Kenneth Lapins InformationWeek
October 31, 2001 00:00 AM
Nov. 3 is the anniversary of John Montagu's birthday. It's believed that this 18th-century English noble, better known as the fourth Earl of Sandwich, wanted to eat with one hand during a 24-hour gambling bender. So, he instructed his servants to serve him his lunch meat between two pieces of bread. To celebrate the occasion, Nov. 3 is officially "National Sandwich Day."

I'm not trying to pick a fight, just point out that #2 in your list can be said for 420 as well.
Edit; Also for #3, people drink every day too. Many get drunk every day and more get drunk once a week.

1) I didn't say you did.
2) Yes there is more to St. Patrick's day, but based on the responses in that thread not a damn poster cares about bringing Catholism to the Ireland.
3) The people who get wasted on St. Paddy's are probably the same people who get wasted every weekend. What's your point?

a) slamming beers, pound brewskies, pour a stiff one, tie one on...grab a cold one, throw one back... right only stoners use a million terms.
b) well why is something twice as destructive (booze)legal while weed is not?
c) drinkers come up with great plans and ideas and then puke on themselves, pass out and piss the bed...

A) Yeah, and for the most part the 30 year olds who are using those terms are annoying too.
B) I don't know, but get over it
C) Yeah, and just like with A, the guys doing that on a regular basis are losers too

Why just the most part? It seems to me you do have something against people who smoke marijuana, regardless of what you keep saying, because it seems the same points brought up about drinking are just dismissed.
Just like anything there is always going to be the annoying crowd mixed in with the normal people.

Legalize everything.
EDIT: Er, in terms of substances. Don't be making first degree homicide a given human right.

And it's a well known fact that people OD on marijuana on a regular basis.
