I'm hoping its an original story and not taken right from the video game.
Any story of the Old Republic from the Revan era has to include the Sith Emperor, which would be a tough character to portray on screen.
You know if they don't do Revan or Bane, I would love to see a movie about the original Jedi Civil War that lead to the banishment of the Jedi who became Sith and the Great Hyperspace War.

The focus is pretty much on SWTOR and adding single player content in the fall to wrap up the current story line.

Yup, I'm excited as well. Personally I've enjoyed the new films (yes, even the Last Jedi), and I'm looking forward to seeing how Abrams is gonna wrap all of this up.

Then we see the Death Star three blowing up Endor.

They should throw an Easter egg into the movie during the epic final battle... in the faint distance, they spliced in a clip of the Macho Man throwing his famous Elbow Drop onto an unsuspecting Stormtrooper, who then blows up.
It'd be funny to see Star Wars fans completely lose their #### over something completely unrelated and uncalled for in the Star Wars universe.

Don't know how reliable it is, but saw a rumor that Disney tested 6 different endings for the Rise of Skywalker and were not happy with the reactions to any of them.

I googled "Star Wars Episode 9 Six Endings" and "Star Wars Episode 9 Two Parts" and didn't return any results for either, so not sure where you guys are getting your rumors from. But it'd be nice if you at least had somewhat credible links instead of spreading what looks like misinformation.

tweeted out that 8 different endings were tested in front of audiences. Not necessarily alternate endings though but more likely different cuts of the same general ending.

Ok that makes me feel slightly better, 8 cuts of the same ending. I was like man if they are really just fishing for a positive response on an ending this is horrible story telling.
I'd rather they picked a story and stick to it, love it or hate it, than just fish for what people are going to approve and what is the safe pick.
I realize the risk of saying this after TLJ :P

I am can't find the original link to what I read and I said I am not sure how reliable it is. Sorry. Will retract that statement.
Even so, screen testing 8 endings seems like a very big net to cast.

Sounds sketchy to me, its impossible to reshoot and re-edit that much of a movie and get it out by its release date.
