On one hand, I kind of like that not everyone is using some squeaky clean spokesperson, but yeah that guy comes across as a little shady. The whole time while he's doing his Minority Report thing on the screen, you're not really listening to what he's saying, but kind of looking at him weird trying to figure out his deal.
The long torso, short legs thing is not helping either.

I assume they are aiming for the blue collar crowd with him? I agree though that it simply doesn't work as he looks far too casual for advertising hotel booking. He looks more like he should be peddling work boots or something.

I don't use or own any Apple products and it seems like every commercial focuses on the ability of Apple products to create or generate music. Why is Apple focusing so much attention on advertising the musical aspect?

I'd be stunned if this hasn't been mentioned already, but that annoying "LEARN HOW to FLIP HOUSES NOW!!" guy in that commercial they always play on FAN 960. Why does he put emphasis on every word??
It's like he thinks we're all stupid or something. It's got every aspect of obnoxious commercials, right down to the "seating is extremely limited so call in the next 10min" part. They've been saying that for weeks. I change the channel every time it comes on, until it's over. **** that guy.

Ya, there are basically a bunch of outright lies in the commercial-
- seating is limited
- tickets are going fast
- it's completely free
- they are only looking for a handful of people to join the Calgary team

Another reason to hate the Spence Diamonds ads besides the obvious.
At the end of the ad, when they tell you where Spence is located, they say Macleod trail and Glenmore SOUTH... As opposed to Glenmore North? No such road, in fact Macleod trail doesn't hit the North either.
Dumb-assess.

The Captain Obvious ads that always play on 660 are excruciating. Something about hotel booking.
I also dislike this year's Stampede ads. I was a huge fan of the Ride ads. Was it last year or the year before? The song was by a guy called Wil. He also did the songs for the Travel Alberta ads. I liked them so much, I actually bought them on iTunes, and still listen to them now.
And apropos to nothing, I noticed an unfortunately filmed scene in the ad for Heritage Park. The mom stands in the doorway with the sun behind her, and you can totally see her knickers through her dress. Not sexy or anything, but just throwing it out there.

The East Side Kia ads that feature Katrina Lemay Doan drive me nuts.
It's just the way she says "East Side Kia" and how it's always so different then how she says any other word in that commercial.
