Why more people don't commute downtown on the Bow river from the west end continues to baffle me. Scared of a little water?

"I can’t believe I actually have to say this, but I’m going to say it: the river is closed. You cannot commute on the river.

I have a large number of nouns that I can use to describe the people I saw in a Toyota Camry on the Bow River today. I am not allowed to use any of them."

It would be awesome if the river froze in the winter and a skating path was maintained on it. I would skate between Edworthy and Prince's Island on the days I go to the office.

Does anyone subscribe to Costco emails?

They send like 3-4 a day, over 15+ emails a week. Like wtf, I do like to be in the know about Costco sale but who decided to spam customers so much??

I live by MRU, which doesn't have an LRT line anywhere nearby, unless you're suggesting I should drive at least 10-15 minutes in precisely the opposite direction of my office to take the C-Train into downtown.
I was just trying to out pedant Corsi.

Normally it isn't that many emails but during the 6 weeks before Christmas it can get ridiculous because of the various sales they run during Black Friday and then the 24 days of Christmas sales or whatever they call that.

Make it a jet boat and you have my interest.

you could pick everyone up down by the old Large Location where Deerfoot crosses the Bow and then rip downtown

I think I might prefer a Florida-style fan boat. Those look fun AF.

The answer is always hovercraft. Good in the summer and winter.

I’m surprised you haven’t cruised Bonavista lake on one of these already. This is how I pictured you.

I know this has been brought up several times in the past but it's still never ceases to amaze how many people drive in the dark with their headlights off. It's almost an everyday occurrence for me on my way to work in the morning. It's getting to the point where headlights need to be full time automatic with the ability to turn them off in the infotainment system as too many people just don't realize why they are struggling.

I think part of the problem is you can set your sensors as to when your automatic comes on - and for my vehicle, the factory setting had them coming on way after they should, so I had to go in and change it.

A lot of people probably figure the computer knows what it's doing.
