Sometimes when I am about to get out of the shower it hits me that I can't remember if I washed my face.

So I wash my face and it always feels like it is the second time washing my face in the shower, but I can't figure out if it is because I already washed it or if it is a deja vu situation.

I was surprised on how many people had never heard of it. They thought it was hilarious, but had never heard the saying before.

Most of you heard it growing up, right? Is it Canadian, just Albertan?

isn’t it “pissed”? Never heard the other variation.

Nothing prepares you for what you'll feel when your toddler starts saying "oh ####" regularly. Like a mix of horror/pure entertainment/sadness that they're going up so fast.

I've heard both. But thinking on it, you're totally right. Pissed was more common.

I think Eminem wrote it in his dis track to MGK, so it has to be somewhat wide spread. Maybe they use "wheaties" or something, though?

Oh, here it is:

Quote:
Now let's talk about somethin' I don't really do
Go in someone's daughter's mouth stealin' food
But you're a ####in' mole hill, now I'ma make a mountain out of you, woo!
Ho, chill, actin' like you put the chrome barrel to my bone marrow
Gunner? Bitch, you ain't a bow and arrow
Say you'll run up on me like a phone bill, sprayin' lead
Playin' dead, that's the only time you hold still
Are you eating cereal, or oatmeal?
What the ####'s in the bowl, milk? Wheaties or Cheerios?
'Cause I'm takin' a #### in 'em, Kelly
, I need reading material

I'm more concerned about who took the jam out of my donut.

Why do people back into parking spots at grocery stores? Like, do they enjoy weaving between cars with their shopping cart and then trying to unload everything in a tight spot?

I do it all the time when it is a small shopping trip where I'm only picking up one or two bags worth of stuff.

I do it all the time. If I back up right, I still have plenty of space behind the car and on either side, and the increased sight lines in a busy parking lot with other people and cars not paying attention is totally worth it.

Yeah, but I mean with shopping carts. It seems like a bad plan, especially if somebody pulls in behind.

I do it because I enjoy bashing my shopping cart into the cars around me and backing into the stall is a great way to facilitate that.

About 20-25 years ago when referring to one of our unusually warm winters, I used the term "brown Christmas" and some guy was like "what the HELL does that mean?!" Another common phrase I thought everybody knew, or at least was self-explanatory.

Clearly everyone knows it means Mr Hanky is coming to visit.

Do you ever have mini dilemmas on whether to put posters on ignore or not? Not talking about obvious ####posters, but talking about the ones who are relatively decent, occasionally informative posters 50% of the time, but irritating twats the other 50%. And of course, they're usually ubiquitous posters so putting them on ignore may mean missing out on important parts of the conversation.

Every time I give someone a basic instruction, and then see the result, I get really self conscious and wonder if I even know how to communicate in my mother tongue.

Man, I expell a lot of mental energy fretting about bears as is. Stuff like this isn't helpful.

It's a map to help you find a safe zone. Really, it's the majority of the solar system, so you have lots of options.

Every human on the planet only has around 5 minutes to live. Taking a breath just resets the clock.
