Realistically even with a new manager it's tough to see United making top four. Funny thing is bailing out of their group in CL to fall into EL might have been the best chance to get into CL next year. If I'd wanna fire Mourinho for any reason it'd be to get a head start on the coaching search. But perhaps the candidate(s) they've identified is currently employed and you're unlikely to poach them now as opposed to the end of the year. Of course they should just fire Mourinho now and hire Wenger for the ####s and giggles.

someone at Redcafe did a version of the table that really shows the margins here. Depressing stuff.

Ouch ^^.

Does anyone know of any highlight sites that DO NOT tell the scores before hand? Finding it impossible to avoid.

Wow DAZN landed premier league rights for Canada starting next year. Last reason I had for keeping any sort of cable is GONE woohoo! 12.50 a month and I get every premier league game whenever I feel like watching it, plus the championship, Serie A, La Liga, Ligue 1, champions league, uefa cup and a bunch of other sports.

Lot of soccer there for that price compared to what sportsnet now and tsn go offer.

Hope the video quality is ok is all.

Yeah that's great DAZN got PL if they were gonna have UCL anyway. DAZN isn't ####ing around, they've spent $1 billion for boxing with Canelo and Anthony Joshua headlining, NFL Sunday Ticket, UCL, PL now. Certainly they have financial muscle.

Actually, I'm kind of with Matty there.

If 90% of my sports watching is going to be on one channel then yeah, the rest of them can go to hell.

SNWorld will be the first to go. I dont have a problem with specialty channels, I have a problem with multiple specialty channels so if SN loses PL and CL then I see no need to keep it. The Rugby is nice, but its not that critical.

The only reason I still had cable was for EPL, so... good news I guess.

Why....

If anything this makes it easier to watch more soccer.

CL, EPL, LIGA, SERIE A are all on the same provider.

I feel like the quality is getting better too - watching Juventus/Inter right now on my phone and the quality is top notch actually.

Ouch. I'm definitely going to need to get DAZN now, but now my question is going to be whether it's worth paying for cable and/or TSN Direct/Sportsnet Now.

Just out of curiosity how many simultaneous connections does DAZN allow?

I believe DAZN allows up to five if I remember the TOS when I signed up.

3 year deal too so this is reasonable long term. I have no issues with SN or TSN's coverage... just the cost, pay for a cable package or real high prices month to month for go or now. Also the lack of on demand in the Apps as it's not always possible to get up and watch at 6 am. If it had been on one channel/app only and I could have gotten it for $15 bucks I'd have happily subscribed forever. Which I'll now have plus I can follow Fiorentina again a bit.

I wonder if they will have some kind of highlights show like setanta/fox did in the past that would be great as I like watching the couple clubs I follow but it's nice having a quick run down of the other games beyond the single clip they show post game.

Also... what is DAZN missing now soccer wise? CMNT, MLS, FA Cup and Bundesliga are the only big properties I can think of.

List of all their properties is on their website here if it helps:

Understand you can get jays games with no blackouts on MLB tv if that's your thing, price goes down massively halfway through the season and I think starts around 100 bucks.

DAZN obviously already has all the NFL games, only other big 4 sport outside NHL is NBA, not sure how that works as far as streaming.

For me living in BC I can get NHL gamecentre and get all the Flames games except the ones blacked out on Pacific when they play the nucks but I can see how for you guys in AB it would be tricky because you still need Sportsnet to see the flames right?

Watching DAZN on a 50-65" screen is simple and quality decent?

Best way I’ve been able to watch on my TV is via the PS4 app.

Quality seems to be better for the lower viewed games, can be spotty for some of the more high profile games but keeps getting improved IMO.

Pretty amazing stat I just heard watching this Arsenal game, 16 matches into the season and Arsenal have not led once at halftime. Certainly shows Emery is doing a great job of making the adjustments at halftime.

Hasn't been a good fall for KAHNNNNNN. Jags off the rails, Fulham probably getting relegated. At least his mustache is still elite.
