I've only seen the original and I don't have much interest in seeing any of the others.

Nothing by respect for MY American Jesus as told by the Gospel of Paul Verhoeven.

As a teenager my holy trinity of action movies was T2, Raiders, and The Road Warrior.

A more modern trinity is probably Fury Road, John Wick 4, and MI: Fallout.

Not that I disagree with the diminishing return comment but I'm such a sucker for the Terminator franchise. Genesis, Salvation, Dark Fate, the TV show.. I can enjoy them all.

The last movie set an almost impossibly high bar, but I have full faith in George Miller. The entire franchise is his baby and so far he's produced, co-written and directed each movie including Furiosa. It might not reach the heights of Fury Road or the Road Warrior. But it'll be a quality film regardless.

Walked out of Godzilla/King Kong after I finished my popcorn. Terrible movie, but King Kong and Godzilla movies are always awful, so there's that.

Poor Things is the worst movie ever made. Nobody told Emma Stone you never go full "R," apparently. There was no basis for the attraction of Ruffalo to Stone after they spoke for, like, 10 seconds. Arrested Development already did that whole falling-for-the-mental-midget thing when Jason Bateman fell for Charlize Theron. I hated every ridiculous second of it. What a try-hard arthouse movie. A total pathetic and maddening waste of my time. And that stupid meaningless convex camera thing every few minutes...what? It was just trying so hard to be quirky to please all the basic bitches out there and I guess it succeeded.

You seem to intentionally watch movies you know you won't like. An interesting choice.

Watched Annihilation for the first time yesterday. Gorgeous looking movie and super, super weird. Overall I can't decide whether I liked it or not, I might have to watch it one more time to try and figure some things out. Really interesting idea, though.

Fun fact! You can enjoy the concession without seeing a movie!
