As well they should IMO. It's an incredible privilege to play sports for a living, and a very lavish living at that. She should do well to remember who it is that pays for all of that.

Well, it looks like they're going to try to get this last women's singles match in that features Oceane Dodin and Madison Keys. Leylah takes on the winner of this match in round 2.

Leylah will take on Madison Keys in round 2 - Keys will be the favourite and if she's serving well will make things tough, but if Leylah can return well, she certainly has enough game to pull off the upset.

Bianca is on court and off to a great start up a double break in the opening set. Only misstep thus far is completely missing a first serve (as in she attempted to hit it and whiffed lol)

Well, this sure turned quickly as we're back on serve in set 1 as Zidansek has won three straight games.

Edit: Nice hold from love-40 down by Bianca to stop a 4 game run by her opponent.

Edit: Bianca plays a great tie-break winning it 7-1 to take the opening set. Crowd is firmly behind the Canadian.
