Ear picks are these.

But another trick to get out ear wax is to get a Q-tip and just dip the tip of it into some aftershave. Aftershave kills everything.

I knew that almost all calico cats are female, but I didn't know that 81% of orange cats are male.

I also didn't know that cat colors are closely tied to their personality:
"In another survey, researchers from the University of California, Berkeley, and California State University, East Bay, asked 189 cat guardians to assign the terms – active, aloof, bold, calm, friendly, intolerant, shy, stubborn, tolerant and trainable — to five different cat colors — red, tricolored, white, black and bicolored. The results showed that respondents were more likely to attribute friendliness to orange cats, intolerance to tricolored cats and aloofness to white cats."

But - are those colours tied to the cats’ or to the responders’ perceived personality?
We need to learn more.

No kidding. Just because people generalize about a certain color of being doesn't make those stereotypes true.

You'd have to get information about specific cats

I'm the executor of my mothers Will and Estate. I had no idea how time consuming this would all take or how difficult it would be. It's been over 2 weeks since her death and there is still a lot of work to be done. I may have to take a long vacation when it's all over.

At the same time my brother has been advising me on what I should be doing and there for me when I need to ask questions. The same goes for her lawyer who has told me to ask if you don't know what to do.

It's been a learning experience for me and a job I hope none of you here ever have to go through this.

I don’t know if it’s still available but Self Counsel Press had a DIY book on settling an estate. Their self-help books are excellent. I think they have an edition for all provinces.

Dion - I’m sure you have posted about your mother’s passing in another spot on this forum, for me however, this is the first I am hearing of it. I am sorry to hear this news. My thoughts are with you. Losing a loved one is never an easy thing to experience. Take care.

Boris Johnson has 8 children - two from his current marriage, four from a previous marriage and two from separate extra-marital affairs. I had no idea and assumed his two recent ones were his first.

It’s a miracle that someone has had sex with him 8 times in his life.

Scratch that, I misread - 7 children, just 1 from an affair.

I hope that's not an "after" picture. If it is, I have some bad news for you.

But you probably have Asian ear wax which is different from the ear wax of most other ethnicities because of the genetic mutation that causes it to be dry and easily scraped out. This mutation also causes many Asian to not sweat. This was something I learned last year.

Growing up, my mom used to use these picks of me and I would always be afraid of her puncturing ear drum and entering my brain.

Those things terrify me too. Thank god for technology. I am much more OK using the versions that are plastic and have a camera on them. They're inexpensive too.
