Also interesting: NXT cuts look to be happening too, but released talent are not allowed to say anything until after NXT's show tonight.

That's a little unfair. Dude has been dealing with some absolutely brutal concussion/post-concussion issues by all accounts. I wouldn't be surprised if his in-ring career is over.

That's a bit surprising first of all, she's very talented, and she was getting a lot of TV time.

Wow, Chioda is a long time ref there, and knows the business. Sad about Sarah, she seemed like a genuine person, she had some decent talent and she had just lost a ton of weight to get into better shape recently.
Should have seen it coming when Shayna crushed her.

Gallows and anderson makes sense, since AJ seems to be cutting back, japan makes sense
Rusev is absolutely bananas they couldnt find something for him, hes gotten over with everything
Hes only one on that list I think is a sure thing for AEW and hes gonna be a main event level guy there
Other than that, I dont know anyone they jump at right away, maybe sarah logan, in their womens division shed probably be top 5
Angle in a non wrestling role makes sense too

My bets are AEW picks up Rusev, Gallows/Anderson, and Deonna Purrazzo. Sarah Logan might get it too, as both would be huge boosts to the women's division.
Everyone else is probably going to spread out everywhere else, although I wouldn't leave out the possibility of being re-hired back by WWE for a few of them with smaller salaries or different roles.
One thing is for sure - this is a talent boon for the smaller promotions and indies. The fans don't forget who these folks are.
Also keep in mind - most of those were just RAW and a couple NXT folks. Full NXT and Smackdown releases are yet to come.

Yeah, its a pretty good guess, though I doubt outside of Rusev that they pick up anyone right away. AEW doesn't want to get into a bloated roster something that nearly killed TNA and absolutely killed WCW.
It could be likely that for everyone they pick up they release another.
A lot of those released by WWE were wrestlers that were there more because of Vince's loyalty then anything else (Ryder, Slater for example), but there's a large group that this is a definite time to move on from wrestling moment.

Vince McMahon is advising Donald Trump on the economy while the XFL files for bankruptcy
Vince McMahon’s week has included XFL bankruptcy, potential bribery, and a documentary about allegedly covering up a murder.

Kassius Ohno moved to the Alumni section of WWE. He might have been released, or just now more in a backstage role.
